Hlunnar ehf.Hlunnar ehf. Is a fishing company is owned by Einar
Guðbjartsson, Guðrún Pálsdóttir and Birkir Einarsson who runs the fishing activities of Blossi
ÍS 125 reg. No. 2320.
Blossi was built by Mótun in Hafnarfjördur 1999. This boat
was a replacement for the older boat Má, from 1980. Má ÍS 242 was a 5 Metric
Tonn wooden boat built in Hafnarfjörd in 1973.

Má was operating on Hand-line
during the summer and Long Line Fishing for several
Autumn fishing seasons and
also for fishing Grásleppa (Cyclopterus Lumpus) in spring seasons.
Einar was the skipper
on Má and Birkir his son, often as a fisherman on the boat.
Birkir then became Captain
on the new boat Blossi, and has maintained that position ever since.
Steinunn
Einarsdóttir is the daughter of Einar and Guðrún and has been a fisherman
along
with her brother Einar last two winters and four summers.
Birkir has a second
class 1st Mate license. María Davíðsdóttir is his common partner.
Einar and
Steinunn posses a license for operating up to 30 tonn fishing boats.
